MAPIM CONDEMNS ASSASINATION OF A PALESTINIAN IMAM IN KUALA LUMPUR.
MAPIM condemns strongly the brutal assasination of Dr Fadi Albatsh a Palestinian imam who is teaching a private university in KL in the early hours of the morning today while walking towards a surau to perform the morning prayers.
Mapim conveys its condolences to the family and hope they will be strong in facing this heavy test.
The decease was gunned down with 10 shots according to media reports , which may indicates a well planned assasination operation.
This is a shocking news to the nation because Malaysia is supposed to be a safe heaven for refugees like Palestinians.
Murders in the open public space by paid assasinators looks like becoming a common feature in Malaysia.
This points to a sign that crime syndicates are becoming more established in Malaysia to target those in the death list of pepertrators.
The assasination of a Korean last year at the KLIA airport indicates that there is an attempt to tarnish Malaysia as a criminal base.
Hired killers are not uncommon in Malaysia. Murders executed by paid assasinators has made frequent headline news in Malaysia.
We call the police to leave no stone unturn and to apprehend the culprit and bring them to face the full weight of the law.
Assasination of the Palestinians have been traced around the world with finger prints of the Israeli intelligence, Mossad.
We urge the police investigation to be launched immediately to unveil the motive of the murder.
Malaysia cannot be allowed to become the base for killing syndicates targeting individuals by local or international pepertrators.
