MAPIM CALL PM MALAYSIA TO INITIATE ASSISTANCE TO GAZA.
MAPIM calls Dr Mahathir Mohamad the Prime Minister of Malaysia to initiate efforts to assist Palestians in Gaza who are now under attack by Israel forces.
The situation now at the Gaza-Israel is getting very serious. Since the Great Return Movement until today almost 80 Palestinian killed and more than 10,000 injured.
With the 70th anniversary of Al-Nakba, the world community is not paying enough attention to the gravity of the situation.
From the 128 nations rejecting the annoucement of Trump that Jerusulem as the capital city of Israel , non has taken any congrete steps to halt Trump and Ariel Sharon from proceeding with the decision.
The official ceremony of moving the American embassy to Al-Quds /Jerusalem has commenced today .
World leaders cannot be passive observers to the violation by rogue nations , Israel and the US.
We urge Dr Mahathir as a reknown world leader in voicing the plight of the Palestinians to initiate a collective effort amongst the Muslim nations and other leaders to stop the killings of Palestinian protestors by Israel at the Gaza Israel border.
Currently thousands of Palestinians are defying the Israel forces by marching from the Gaza Strip towards their occupied land.
The right of return which is guaranteed by the international law particularly UN 194 gives the Palestinian a strong basis to launch the return movement.
The Israel forces are now brutally killing the Palestinians. Today alone , it is reported 30 Palestinians were killed and more than 800 were injured.
The situation will get worst if the world community remains actionless.
We believe Dr Mahathir can play a big role to galvanize third world governments to respond to the current situation in Gaza strip and Baitul Maqdis.
We propose that Dr Mahathir establish an International Parliamentarian Coalition for Palestine. The purpose would be to rally parliamentarians to support the Palestian cause
